Oneta Louise Gideon

Oneta Louise Gideon, 75, of Montreal, died Friday, July 29, 2011, at Richland.

She was born May 19, 1936, in La Habra, Calif. to Floyd and Delores Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sarah Gideon; a son-in-law Steve Tournay; and granddaughter, Emily Gideon.

On Dec. 25, 1952, she was married to Ralph Gideon.

She was a homemaker, and a member of Buffalo Prairie Baptist Church.

Violet Loraine Collins, 70, of Springfield, died Saturday morning, July 30, 2011, at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; two children, Terry Collins and Carol, of Wayesville, and Charlene “Shelly’’ Cherner and Gary, of Atlanta, Ga.; six siblings, Lindell Anderson, of Fort Worth, Texas; William “Bill’’ Anderson, of Ozark; Evelyn Crossland, of Springfield; Vera Rinck, of Doolittle; Marilyn Anderson, of the state of Montana, and Joyce Blankenship, of Laquey; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
