Juanita May Davis

Juanita May Davis, 88, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, in Lebanon.

She was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Wright County, Mo. to Orvil H. and Gladys O. Prock Todd.

On Dec. 10, 1950, she married Homer Aaron Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Davis, on Aug. 22, 2016; her son, Roger Davis, and five brothers, Melvin, Roy, Furl, Lanny, and Everett Todd.

Juanita was a devoted homemaker and worked for Rice Stix (H.D. Lee).

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Weber (Bobby), of Lynchburg; one brother, Delano Todd (Ruth), of Lynchburg; Jessica Lange (Robert), Ashley Davis Arreola (Rene), Aaron Davis (Jessica); four great-grandchildren, Alyssa Lange, twin grandsons, Jace and Cole Lange, Jonathan Arreola; sisters-in-law, Bonnie, Barbara and Eileen Todd, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Juanita May Davis will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

Burial will be in McBride Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation will be held beginning at 5 p.m. Friday also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
