Active shooter drill at LHS

Lebanon High School was the site Thursday for an active shooter drill.
Area emergency responders practiced what they would do in the event of a shooting incident at the school.
Lebanon High School Assistant Principal Craig Reeves said the emergency agencies were taking advantage of the summer period when the high school is mostly empty to train for an emergency scenario.
“The other nine months of the year we have teachers, we have students, it’s kind of busy, so in this time period we’re able to actually use our school and it doesn’t interfere with our educational setting,” Reeves said.
