Members of the community, the media and the Chamber of Commerce met at the Chamber to select the theme for the 2019 Christmas parade.
Debbie Hilton’s submission “A Christmas Wish” was chosen by the theme committee.
Of the several hundred submissions, Hilton turned in over 100 possibilities.
“Debbie will be given a $100 check and the option to ride in the Christmas Parade,” said Darrell Pollock, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce.
The parade will take place November 23 at 11 a.m. and will follow the traditional route with the check in process happening in the HEP Supply Co. and  D & A Paint and Accessories parking lots.
Stan Moore, retired circuit judge, was selected to be the grand parade marshal.
