The Lebanon City Council gave first reading approval Monday to rezoning for a proposed coffee house at 351 South Adams.
The Council must approve the rezoning again at a future meeting for it to take effect.
The owner of property, Christina Basnett, has requested that the property be rezoned from RS-2 residential to neighborhood commercial. According to city staff, the location is recommended to go to neighborhood commercial in the city’s 2005 and 2019 comprehensive plan.
