FEMA to assess storm damage

The Laclede County Commission on Tuesday heard from Jenny Solomon of American Red Cross and Office of Emergency Management Director Randy Rowe. They discussed assessments to provide assistance for property damaged by recent storms.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is coming to Laclede County this week to look at storm damage.
Laclede County Office of Emergency Management Director Randy Rowe said the county had been hit by 17 major storms that caused property damage since May 11.
“Gov. Parson has asked that we do an immediate individual assessment and a public damage assessment estimate and provide that to him,” Rowe said.
Anyone with damage to their home was asked to call OEM at 417-532-6992.
