LAF hosts grant workshops for nonprofits seeking Community Cares Grant funding

The Community Cares Program is accepting grant applications now until August 31, 2019 for 2020 grants.  In order to qualify as a member agency, your organization must be a not-for-profit organization (a copy of the letter substantiating your not-for-profit status is required).
Lebanon Area Foundation Administrator, Melinda Fries explains, “Applicants can fill out the grant and submit it online along with all of the required attachments.  They can also be mailed or hand-delivered to our office inside the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce building.  Because the deadline of August 31 is a Saturday this year, applicants who want to hand-deliver their grant requests must bring them to our office by 5pm on Friday, August 30.”
LAF will be hosting two FREE grant workshops to help those who are applying for Community Cares grants.  The first workshop will be held on Thursday, July 18 at 5:30 pm at the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce and the second workshop will be held at the same time and location on Thursday, August 15.  Seating will be limited.  Anyone interested in going to the workshop must RSVP by calling the LAF office at 417-532-8868.
