Lebanon lawyer disbarred

A Lebanon lawyer accused of committing fraud, forgery and misappropriating clients’ funds has been disbarred by the Missouri Supreme Court.
Jeffrey B. Allen, who had an office on Adams Avenue across from the Laclede County Courthouse, can no longer practice law in the state of Missouri, according to a corrected order released by the Missouri Supreme Court on Jan. 9.
The Supreme Court states in the document that Allen violated multiple Rules of Professional Conduct, including diligence, communication, fees, trust accounts and property, truthfulness in statements and misconduct.
