or most people, Valentine’s Day brings images of romance and flowers.
For florists like Pam Daniels of Always Flowers, it represents the busiest time of the  year.
“It takes us weeks to get ready for this day, a lot of people don’t understand that, but we’re all geared up,  we’ve got all the help we need,” she said. “We’ve got merchandise, we’ve got everything anybody would want. We’re ready.”
Daniels says she begins preparing for the holiday in early January.
“You have to, you have to get all your merchandise ordered, sometimes I do that in December, then you starting getting your vases ready, your merchandise ready,” Daniels said. “You’ve got to get all the candy bags ready. It takes a good month and a half.”
Roses and other items are in demand this year.
“People still like the balloons and stuffed animals and the candy,” she said.
