A Lebanon woman believes that Mercy Hospital Lebanon’s staff failed to do everything they could to keep her premature baby daughter from dying.
Kristie Barksdale said she did not know she was about to give birth to the premature baby she named BaileyJoe Anna  when she went to Mercy Hospital Lebanon’s emergency room with pains on Oct. 9 of last year. At the time, she was only 22 weeks pregnant. Shortly after arriving at the emergency room, she and her husband Steve, who are raising three boys, soon found themselves dealing with a premature birth.
“My stomach had been cramping in my lower abdomen and this was my fourth child, I should have known they were contractions, but I didn’t,” she said.
