A 40-year old Phillipsburg man is charged with first degree burglary  in connection with an incident that occurred in the 22000 block of Keepsake Drive on Jan. 8.
According to Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap, Lucas Adam Mackey, and one other suspect both wearing ski masks, entered a home occupied by four other people just after midnight, displayed a gun and demanded money.
Millsap said the suspects did not get any money from of the people inside the home. He said one of the occupants told the pair “law enforcement was on the way” and the two suspects then fled the home.
