The City of Lebanon and the Lebanon Technology and Career Center are working together to improve a piece of property.
A groundbreaking was held Tuesday morning at 258 Hoover Street for a building class student project.
The home on the property was condemned and demolished last fall before it was sold to the Lebanon School District. Students will use the site as a hands-on classroom and city officials will partner with the district in teaching the students about building codes and inspections.
Joe Berkich, Lebanon senior planner/code administrator,  said the project works out for both the city and the school district.
