A bench in the Coleman Conservation Area was dedicated Friday in memory of Paulette Moore.
Moore was the wife of former Circuit Judge Stan Moore.
Moore said the family wanted to memorialize Mrs. Moore along the trail where she enjoyed walking.
She was diagnosed with cancer just after the Moores’ 50th wedding anniversary in January 2017 and battled cancer for 18 months, before she died June 23.
“Part of the reason we’re doing this is that it was her choice and request to donate her body to science,” he said. “Her remains went to Washington University Medical School.”
