Dotty Jean Berry, 79, of El Dorado Springs, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, June 8, 2019.
She was born Aug. 10, 1939, in Lebanon, MO. to L. Dow Morehouse and Dora (Warren) Morehouse.
On Nov. 22, 1958, she married Dewain C. Berry in Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dewain; her parents, and three sisters, Virginia (infant), Valeeta Mizer and Laveeta Mizer.
Dotty attended the El Dorado Springs Church of the Nazarene for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Gene Berry and his wife Lori, of Walker, Mo. and Mike Berry and his wife Audrey, of Grove, Okla.; a daughter, Shelia Miles and husband Earl, of Springfield, Ill.; grandchildren, Trenton and Heather Berry and family, Clinton and Belinda Berry and family, Jamie and Joe Day and family, Brittany and Andy Wendt and family, Dein Fastdog and children, and Thomas Miles; 16 grandchildren; a sister, June and Vincie Lewis; a brother, Wayne Morehouse, and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members.
Visitation for Dotty Jean Berry will be held from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Bland-Hackleman Chapel in El Dorado Springs with funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Bland-Hackleman Chapel with the Rev. Bill Whetstone officiating. Burial will be in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the El Dorado Springs Church of the Nazarene, 3896 South Hwy. 32, El Dorado Springs, Mo. 64744, or left at the funeral home.
