Esther Lucille Thomas, 97, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, in Lebanon.
She was born March 15, 1920, in Barnsdall, Okla. to Lloyd and Minnie Jones North.
On June 25, 1936, she married Clarence Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Arlie and Millard North; twin sister, Lester Hobson; son-in-law, Paul Taylor; one granddaughter, Paula Anthony; one great-great-grandson, Jude; and one great-great-granddaughter, Alexandria.
Esther worked for Rice Stix and was later H.D. Lee Company.
She was a longtime active and faithful member of Dove Bible Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Marolyn Taylor, of Lebanon; two granddaughters, Terry Kellner and her husband, Kenny, of Springfield and April McDaniel and her husband, Mike, of Lebanon; a grandson-in-law, Herb Anthony, of Falcon; nine great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Esther Lucille Thomas will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2108, at Dove Bible Church with Scott Myers officiating. Burial will be in Roach Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time, also on Saturday at Dove Bible Church.
