Flora Mae Cortez, 50, of Lebanon, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 6, 2019, in Mercy Hospital Springfield.
She was born June 14, 1938, in San Luis Obispo, Calif. to Steven and Roxie Early Osburn.
Flora Mae was married to Nicholas Cortez I.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Steven Osburn Jr.
Born and raised in California, she then made her home there until moving to Lebanon in 2006. She was a devoted homemaker to her family and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. After moving to Lebanon, she worked at Webco Manor, Marshfield Care Center, and Lebanon North and South Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers.
Survivors include her husband Nicholas Cortez Sr., of Lamont, Calif; one daughter, Casey Mathis, of Lebanon; three sons, William Duval and Nicholas Cortez Jr., both of Conway and Damien Goateher, of Lebanon; six grandchildren; her mother, Roxie Rowland, of Niangua; two sisters, Edith Osborn and Roxanne Dill, both of Conway; several nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
All services for Flora Mae Cortez will be private and under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
