Junior Holloway, 79, of Richland, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, in Richland.
He was born July 18, 1939, in Richland, Mo. to James Delbert and Clara Josephine Newell Holloway.
On Jan. 28, 1961, he married Betty Lou Marks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Walter and Charles Holloway, and three sisters, Clara Mae Myers, Joann Mitschele and Fonnie Mitschele.
He worked at Lowe’s, Landau, Richline, and Playcraft Boat Companies. He was also a route driver for Empire Gas Company.
Junior was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Betty Holloway; one son, Mike Holloway (Michelle) of Richland; three daughters, Teresa Welliver (Dave) of Madison, Ohio; Tammie Holloway (Teri) of Drake, Colo.; Lisa Stubblefield of Richland; four grandchildren, Airin Stadelmayer, LaShelle Smith, Michael Stubblefield (Rachel), Jared Holloway (Kensey Melton); twelve great-grandchildren, Jewel, Ryker, Kaleb, Kaydence, Maycee, Charleigh, Meeka, Anakyn, Jordyn, Kylie, Peyton, Kodie Jo, three brothers, John Henry Holloway (Gloria) of Richland; Paul William Holloway (Joyce), Robert Holloway (Gloria) of Richland; one sister, Mary Lou Hensen of Richland; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Junior Holloway will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with the Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established, and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P. O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
