Lindora Faye Hoke, 91, of Kansas City, formerly of Lebanon, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, in her home in Kansas City.
She was born Aug. 5, 1927, in Tucumseh, Neb. to Orville and Cora Rose Jones.
Lindora married George Lee Hoke, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, George L. “Butch’’ Hoke Jr.; three brothers, Jim, David and Casey, and three sisters, Elsie, Gladys, and Sue.
She was born in Nebraska but lived most of her life in the Lebanon and Stoutland areas. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family and also worked for the H.D. Lee Company in Lebanon for over 30 years.
Lindora had attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Lebanon.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Kingsbury, of Kansas City; four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; a sister, Tiny Schrat, of Omaha, Neb. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Lindora Faye Hoke will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019, in the Mount Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Jason Hoke officiating. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
