Mabel F. Dane, 72, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, in Lebanon.
She was born Jan. 17, 1947, in Bonne Terre, Mo. to William Franklin and Minnie Dell Clarke Dane, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by one son, Joe Edward Delashmit, and one brother, LaDon Dane.
Mabel graduated from Leadwood High School in 1965. She then was employed with the United States Army in St. Louis for the next three years, prior to raising her family. She later became a caregiver to several family members before moving to Lebanon, where she worked as a cook for the Lebanon School System and several area restaurants.
She was an active member of Second Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Don Delashmit of Belgrade, Mo.; two brothers, Sam Dane and his wife Pat and Gary Dane and his wife Pat,  all of Lebanon; two sisters, Ellen Long and her husband Neil of Wasilla, Alaska and Brenda Cashion and her husband Chuck of  Nashville, Tenn., other relatives and friends
A Celebration of Life Service for Mabel F. Dane will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at Second Free Will Baptist Church in Lebanon with Pastor David Douglas officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Sign guest book at
