Martha Charlene Coffey, 90, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, in Lebanon.
She was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Lebanon, Mo. to William and Lenore Massey Piercy.
On April 19, 1956, she married George B. Coffey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George B. Coffey; six brothers, Gene, Dean, Anderson, William and an infant brother, Tommy Piercy; three sisters, Effie Lehman and two in infancy, Elizabeth and Joyce Piercy.
Martha was employed at Dr. Earnie Gapasin’s and Dr. Louis Bealer’s medical offices, at H.D. Lee and was also a waitress in the Lebanon community.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Piercy and his wife Glenda, of Lebanon; three brothers, Bill Ray Piercy and his wife Della, of Lebanon; James Edward Piercy and his wife Jeannie, of Eldridge, and Guy Wallace Piercy, of Lebanon; two sisters, Mary Berry, of Lebanon, and Alberta Marie Conard and her husband Andy, of Grafton, Ohio; one granddaughter, Ashley Turner and her husband Lance; two great-grandchildren, Elie and Braxten Turner; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A funeral service for Martha Charlene Coffey will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, in Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Sam Dame officiating.
Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at 2 p.m., also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Shepherd’s Pack Program, and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
