Ronald Lewis Livermore, 70, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, in Lynchburg.
He was born June 5, 1948, in Newport News, Va. to James Lewis Livermore and Evelyn Putzier Livermore Fisher.
On June 15, 2008, he married Sally Willett.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
Ronald was the owner and operator of Livermore Heavy Equipment.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Livermore, of the home; one son, Slade Lewis Livermore and his wife Cheyanne Mary, of San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Tamanique “Tami’’ Delatorre and her husband, Richard, of Peyton, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Heather Shirkey, of San Diego, Calif. and Kristy Shirkey, of Arizona; his mother, Evelyn Livermore Fisher, of Lynchburg; two sisters, Lois Everage and her husband Rodney, of Lynchburg, and Leila Dehbein and her husband David, of Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren, Leilani Victoria Livermore and Darren Delatorre; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Ronald Lewis Livermore will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Reeder officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Anthon, Iowa, with military honors by the United States Navy, under the direction of Armstrong Funeral Home in Anthon, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
