Wilma E. Jones, 86, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, in Lebanon.
She was born Thursday, Oct. 12, 1933, in Orla, Mo. to Reverend Leslie M. and Chloda L. Howell McClanahan.
On Feb. 10, 1950, she married Reverend Billy C. Jones.
She was a devoted homemaker and was a kind and loving pastor’s wife for many years.
Wilma was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, David Jones and his wife Chris and a daughter, Brenda Jones, both of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Caleb Jones and his wife Melissa, Cody Jones and his wife Lindsi, Cassandra Pruitt and her husband Ben, Levi Franklin and Brandy Cunningham and her husband, Gary;  thirteen great-grandchildren, Griffin, Owen, Hayden, Easton, Ellie, Landon, Piper, Skyler, Cainan, Kensi, Alice, Chase and Kylor; one sister, Wanda Lowe of Fordland; a wonderful care team, including, Sandy, Karrie, Kelly, Felicia, Crystal, Kathy, Trish, Glessie, Jessica, Makayla, Vicki; Miranda and the entire Hospice Team;  other relatives, church members and dear friends.
Funeral services for Wilma E. Jones were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastors Dan Talbott, Craig Perry, and R.E. Helsley officiating. Burial was in McBride Cemetery near Competition, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation was scheduled to begin Monday, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
