The Lebanon High School softball team honored their two seniors (Mackenzie Reeves and Alayna Starnes) on Tuesday afternoon at the Lebanon Softball Complex.

Reeves and Starnes have been solid players for the past four seasons in the program with both seeing varsity time for all four years.

Unfortunately for LHS, they came up just short against the Ava Bears, 10-6.

After a horrid top of the first inning where the Lady ‘Jackets surrendered six runs, they were able to get all six runs back.

In the top of the second inning, the Bears took a 7-6 lead and would later add on two more runs in the fifth inning and cap the scoring with a run in the top of the seventh inning.

However, Lebanon bounced back later in the week, defeating the Stoutland Tigers on Wednesday on the road, 4-0.

Stoutland lost for just the second time this season behind a dominating performance from McKenzie Lowrance in the circle.
