After a first-round bye in the Missouri Class 5 District 5 tournament, the Lebanon High School football team put together a complete game in all facets, defeating the Glendale Falcons 70-6 in the semifinal round on a foggy Friday night at ‘Jacket Stadium.

It was the second time this season that Lebanon has scored 70 points in a game this year, matching a school record for points scored in a single game.

Earlier in the season, Lebanon defeated Glendale 51-40, but after two weeks to prepare, the team shut down a high-powered Falcons offense.

The Lebanon defense recorded four sacks and five interceptions on the night, disrupting quarterbacks Blaine Huston and Gavin Watts all game long.

“I am super proud of our kids,” head coach Will Christian said.
