Lebanon wrestling preps for season

Every year the Lebanon High School wrestling team hosts their annual Black and Gold dual to determine varsity and JV wrestling spots, and on Tuesday night, in front of a packed crowd, the program continued the tradition.

Winners of the boys’ matches included Quentin Long beating Jonathan Perryman via pin at 106. Josiah Perryman (113) via pin over Tayden Johnson and Davis Joiner winning against Bo Rosen at 120.

At 126, Cole Patten defeated Austin Johnson with Zach Miller defeating Hayden Dearborn at 132.

Cole Roark defeated Jason Evers via pin in the first period at 138, Elijah Arl pinned Sam Davidson at 145-pounds, and freshman Cade Muscia beat Robert Garner at 152-pounds.

Senior Trevor Christian, coming off a third-place finish in Class 3 in 2018-2019, and a recent Drury wrestling signee, pinned Connor Brand at 160-pounds.

Colt Adkins pinned Colt Heisz to take the 170-pound match, and Jake Henson defeated Gabriel Schiller during the 182-pound match.
