Lebanon XC medals plenty at home meet

The Lebanon High School cross country team hosted its annual home meet on Monday evening at the Lebanon Great Life Golf and Fitness center.

They are coming off a solid meet at the Forest Park meet in St. Louis where the Yellowjackets had five medalists in varsity runners Juliane Lopez 18th/161 overall (21:18), Myah Hough 26th/161 overall (21:36), Cael Schmitz 23rd/189 overall (18:08), JV runner Tara Adams 26th/294 overall (24:58), and freshman runner Bionca Little 12th/49 overall.

On Monday, it was the boys’ team that impressed by taking first overall out of seven teams in a field that included Ozark, Waynesville, Strafford, Central, Camdenton, and Rolla.

The ‘Jackets had a team score of 59 points, and Ozark took second with 65 points total with Waynesville finishing third with 85 points.

Overall, the boys’ varsity team had six medalists in Zach Jamieson (3rd overall), Cael Schmitz (6th overall), Dylan Krisher (12th overall), Chris Wadley (18th overall), Caleb York (20th overall), and Dylan Church (27th overall).

The varsity girls placed 4th out of seven teams that included Waynesville, Ozark, Rolla, Parkview, Camdenton, and Strafford.

Medalists included Myah Hough (6th overall), Juliane Lopez (7th overall), Lexi Curl (16th overall), Skyla Sien (17th overall), Tyra Rogers (28th overall), and Macie Fisher (30th overall).
