Adra Lorene (Shadrick) Slavens, 88, of Buffalo was born March 8, 1935, in Macks Creek to James T. Willis and Emma Neta Parrack and died Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Colonial Springs Care Center in Buffalo. She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Kathryn Slavens of Roach and Michelle Slavens of Marshfield; two grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Louise Willis of Macks Creek; Mary Sue Rucker of Buffalo, and Betty Swanigan of Marshall. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in the Hopewell Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Butcher officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday at the church.
