A major safety improvement is coming to Bennett Spring State Park beginning this spring.
Two new emergency sirens will be installed in the park, Laclede County Office of Emergency Management Director Randy Rowe announced at Thursday’s Laclede County Commission meeting. He said he hopes to have the new sirens up and running by March 1.
The county is receiving two $25,000 grants to cover the cost of two storm sirens in Bennett Spring Park.
