Conway kindergarten through 6th grade students are now sporting new footwear thanks to the Life 360 Church of Conway and a shoe manufacturer.
The Life 360 Church presented more than 400 pairs of shoes to students in the Laclede County R-1 School District last week.
School Superintendent Mark Hedger said the school district began working with the church on its after-school meal program.
“We started a partnership with them where they provide after-school snacks for every one of our students every day,” Hedger said. “That’s how we got a relationship with them. Their pastor comes out and helps every day.”
Hedger said the school district is grateful for the assistance.
