City elected official raises approved

Posted

The Lebanon City Council has approved pay raises for council members and the mayor that will begin next year.
The action, which will not take effect until after the next election cycle, came at Monday night’s Council meeting.
Council members amended the original ordinance to have the pay increase take effect in July 2020 when the city’s budget year begins.
City officials said the action came after a city-wide review of all salaries, including elected officials.
