The Lebanon Veterans Memorial Board added a name to the Veterans Memorial at Monday’s Veterans Day ceremony in the Cowan Civic Center.
The new name is Sgt. Cleophus Millard, a World War II prisoner of war who survived the Bataan Death March and died in captivity on Christmas Day in 1942.
Lebanon City Councilman Gib Adkins spoke about Millard, who was his great uncle.
