Longtime Lebanon businesswoman DeLores M. Shadel, 93, died Saturday.
She and her late husband T.J. founded Colonial Funeral Chapel in 1957, and she continued to be active in the business until her health failed in 2019.
Shadel was born in Lebanon on Aug. 14, 1930, in Phillipsburg to Hershel and Retha Hawkins Montgomery. She married Thomas Johnson “T.J.’ Shadel in 1950.
