Missourians voted last November for what was billed as an effort to clean up politics, but State Senator Sandy Crawford said the law has had other consequences voters did not know about.
Speaking at Thursday’s Lebanon Rotary Club meeting, Crawford asked her audience if they understood that Amendment 1 completely changed the way redistricting is done and many indicated they did not.
“A lot of people didn’t know that, it’s not going to be a good thing for Laclede County if that stands,” she said.
