David J. Hawk, 65, of St. Joseph, formerly of Lebanon, died Friday, March 6, 2020, at his home.
He was born July 3, 1954, in Lebanon, Mo. to Mary and Robert Hawk.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
He graduated from Lebanon High School and Missouri Western State College. He was the owner/operator of Hawk Appraisal. He enjoyed fishing and collecting cars.
Survivors include his son, David Joseph (Polly) Hawk, of Platte City; grandson, Gus Hawk; brothers, Burt (Connie) Hawk and Gary (Judy) Hawk, both of St. Joseph; sisters, Roberta (Greg) Young of Oakland, Calif., and Lisa Fisher, of Kansas City; former wife, Sharon Hawk-Carter; stepdaughter, Ashley L. Stroud, and stepson, Nicholas J. Silvey.
Visitation was held and his body was cremated under the care and direction of Rupp Funeral Home of St. Joseph.
