The Lebanon Downtown District has asked Laclede County to be part of the current effort to revitalize downtown Lebanon.
Ed Brackett of Galleria Fine Jewelry and Beth Chism of the Laclede County Record approached the Laclede County Commission at its Tuesday morning meeting asking for support.
They said the Downtown Business District is receiving an anonymous donation that could be used to renovate downtown buildings.
The donation cannot be used for salaries but downtown businesses are raising money to hire a Man Street program manager with the city of Lebanon committing $15,000.
