It did not take long to discover what brought a nice crowd of people to Commercial Street for Downtown Lebanon’s Cruise In.
For off-duty LPD Officer Vince Ambrose, one reason was the event’s ability to bring Lebanon area residents together.
“It’s something we’ve talked about before – how they used to have Hillbilly Days back in the day – and it would be nice to get something like this to get the community back out here on a regular basis,” Ambrose said.
Like most of the attendees, Ambrose was there at least in part to see the cars. His wife, Jill, however, was in attendance for another reason.
“I’m here to shop,” she said.
