The inaugural Laclede County Commission Ag Tour took place Oct. 6.
Its purpose was to highlight the county’s agriculture industry, which Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst estimated at $400 million dollars yearly.
“It’s been a great day. We’ve had a lot of good conversations with all the participants. It’s been really exciting to hear some of the stories enjoyed today. Some real stories like the Century Farm, some innovations in the dairy in the Morgan area. We’ve seen a pumpkin patch today, so it’s been a really good day,” Angst said.
