Former publisher faces child pornography charges

A former Lebanon Daily Record publisher and husband of a former Laclede County prosecuting Attorney has been charged with promoting and possessing child pornography. Matthew Curtis Wright, 54, of Lebanon, is charged with two counts of promoting child pornography in the first degree and one count of possession of child pornography. Counts one and two allege that at two different times, Wright transferred obscene material involving a child. Count three alleges that Wright knowingly possessed child pornography.
