Fort Wood group asks city to continue partnership

Sustainable Ozarks Partnership officials have asked the City of Lebanon to renew its membership for for a third year.
At Monday’s City Council meeting, SOP Executive Director Dorsey Newcomb presented an updates on the organization’s accomplishments over the past year.  He said SOP’s main goals are to promote the growth of Fort Leonard Wood and the surrounding region.
Newcomb said a contract has been awarded for the new hospital on Fort Leonard Wood and work is getting underway with a groundbreaking ceremony expected in August.
