Geneva Golden, 68, of Waynesville, died Friday, May 12, 2023, in the Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla.
She is survived by her husband Pastor Terrance Golden Sr. of Waynesville; her son, Jessie J. Lee of San Francisco, Calif.; her daughter, Andrea J. Lee of Waynesville; two brothers, Larry Butler of Oakland, Calif. and Columbus Butler Jr. (Qiana) of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Deloris Butler of Robbins, Ill.; Diane Bates of Abilene, Texas and Onel Caston of the state of Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, in the First Baptist Church of St. Robert. Burial will be later in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Chicago, Ill., under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Visitation was from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the church. Memorial contributions in memory of Geneva Golden may be made and may be left at Memorial Chapel.
