SFC (Ret) Gerald Lynn Alexander, 79, of Waynesville, a retired United States Army Sergeant First Class, died Sunday, April 14, 2024, in his home.
He is survived by his wife Marshel Alexander of the home; four children, Gerrilynn Alexander (Claudio Griffin) of Waynesville, Shaunt’e Reed of Waynesville, Jon Alexander (Michell) of St. Robert, and Alexandrea Alexander of Waynesville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Hart of Detroit, Mich.; sister, Phyllis May (Kenneth) of New Castle, Pa.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Graveside services with military honors will be held at noon Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville.
Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of SFC (Ret) Gerald Alexander and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
