Gladys Mildred Wyatt, 92, of Waynesville died Monday, July 31, 2023, in her home.
She is survived by three children: Donna Hickey (Lee) of Waynesville; Larry Six (Pati) of Kathleen, Ga., and Janell York (Jim) of Waynesville; seven grandchildren, DeWayne Hickey (Kim) of Springfield; Tammy Simpson (Allen) of Waynesville; Larry Hickey of Warrensburg; Michelle Mays (Josh) of Elko, Ga.; Desiree Gentle (Eric) of St. Robert; Jamie York of Waynesville, and Lacey Chastain (Matthew) of Kirkwood; 17 great grandchildren: Zach Hickey (Jen) of Clever; Eathan Hickey (Makayla) of Clever; Trent Simpson (Sydney) of Springfield; Trey Simpson of Waynesville; Tanner Simpson of Rolla; Gracelyn Hickey, Landon Hickey, Christian Hickey and Samuel Hickey, all of Warrensburg; Logan Lister (Raylyn) of Kathleen, Ga.; Kiley Law (Jared) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; McKenzie Lister of San Angelo, Texas; Derrick Aldrich of Kathleen, Ga.; Carson Gentle, Cooper Gentle and Evelynn Gentle, all of St. Robert, and Annie Chastain of Kirkwood; seven great-great grandchildren: Sophia, Amelia, Isabella, Hudson, Kallie, Jacklyn, and Harlow; sister-in-law: Norma Farr of Quincy, IL; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023, in the Faith Baptist Church of Waynesville. Burial was in the Idumea Cemetery of Laquey. Visitation was from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Faith Baptist Church of Waynesville.
