The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and the Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM) encourage deer hunters around the state to share their harvests through the state’s Share the Harvest program.
Locally, Laclede County Conservation Agents Jarad Milligan and Jarrad Jewell recently delivered more than 2,000 pounds of venison from the program.
The venison was processed by Spring Valley of Conway and East 32 Meat Processing of Lebanon and given to Crosslines Ministry and L-LIFE.
