Johnny Lee Stoner, 68, of Lebanon, died Saturday, May 16, 2020, at his home.

He was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Camden County, Mo. to Oral and Nona (Blurton) Stoner.

On June 19, 2004, he married Sam Stoner in Laclede County, and together they shared 16 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Oral and Nona; one brother, Bubby Stoner, and one sister Jean Lyons and husband Jerry Lyons, all from Macks Creek.

Johnny was a self-employed owner/operator truck driver for most of his life. He also enjoyed tractor pulling, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He loved Christmas and 4th of July because of the many memories made with loved ones. He was saved at a young age and was later baptized and was a member of Mission Ridge Missionary Baptist Church at Macks Creek.

He is survived by his wife Sam Stoner of Lebanon; four children, Melanie and Tom Miller of Falcon; Josh and Klarissa Stoner of Urbana; Dusty and Meagan Stoner of Macks Creek, and Cody and Emily Stoner of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren, Abbigail, Gabrielle, Wiley, McKayla, Weston, Wyatt, Waylen, Walker, Mason, Madison, Taegan, Aiden, and Adalynn, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services for Johnny Lee Stoner will be held at noon Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Macks Creek. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Macks Creek, under the direction of Hedges-Scott Funeral Home of Macks Creek.
