Lebanon girls’ swim team performing well

Posted

The Lebanon High School girls’ swim team entered the year with some returning swimmers and a few first-year swimmers.

According to head coach Heidi Conti, the team has performed well in meets so far this winter.

“Grace Johnson has made the State Consideration cuts for the 100 free and the 200 individual medley,” she mentioned. “The majority of the other swimmers are first time swimmers or returning after several seasons off, but they have all had personal records and significant drops in time this season.

“Our lone senior, Sarah Haney, has been a great leader on the team and has swum well this year.”

Heading into this season, Conti mentioned that she wanted to improve on some technique and fine-tune starts and turns during their races.
