Lebanon Salvation Army seeks volunteers

Posted

The Lebanon Salvation Army has a goal: to double the amount of money raised last year through its bellringing drive.
Last year, bell ringers raised $50,000. With $100,000 as this year’s goal, the Salvation Army is looking for help.
“We’re trying to get everybody to help us,” said Sue Watson, director of Lebanon’s Salvation Army.
Watson emphasized the funds help with food, clothing, Christmas food baskets and presents.
The help is coming slowly.
“Right now we’re really hurting for bellringers. For some reason, people aren’t calling in,” Watson said.
