The Lebanon City Council will consider a stay-at-home order for the city. At Thursday’s coronavirus briefing with area government and other agencies, Mayor Jared Carr announced a special city council meeting, with the support of the Laclede County Health Department, at 6 p.m. Friday to vote on the stay-at- home order for the City of Lebanon. “We feel that this is the best direction for our community to stay ahead of this curve and ensure that our residents are as safe as they can be for now and for the future," Carr said. “Hopefully we can keep our number. at zero, I know we don’t have a confirmed case in Laclede County but I think it would be foolish to say it’s not here. It’s knocking at the doorstep and we want to be in the forefront to mitigate this as best we can.”
