The Lebanon-Laclede County Library will close its building to the public effective Wednesday at 5 p.m. through Sunday, April 5 because of the coronavirus. The Lebanon-Laclede County will not charge any overdue fines and all checkout periods will be extended through April 10. All pending holds will be frozen so you will keep your place in line when the library re-opens. The library asks that patrons absolutely do not return checked out materials. The book drop will be locked after 3 p.m. Wednesday. Please keep all library materials at home. You will not be penalized. The library’s collection of digital resources like e-books, e-audiobooks and databases will continue to be available 24/7. The Overdrive/Libby and RBDigital collections are available via the library’s website lebanon-laclede.lib.mo.us “We commit to keeping our community informed and will be posting regular updates to the media and on the library’s Facebook page,” according to a statement from the library. “The decision to close the Library was difficult and taken with great thought and consideration.”
