Mary Elizabeth Lane, 67, of Richland, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, in Springfield.

She was born Oct. 5, 1952, in Iberia, Mo. to Willie and Belle Amrine Moss.

On April 7, 1977, she married Larry Don Lane.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Everett “Bud.’’

Mary graduated from Iberia High School. She was employed with H.D. Lee Manufacturing in Richland for 26 years. She then attended Vatterott College in Springfield, where she trained in computer technology. She loved sewing, especially quilting, cooking and baking, doing crafts with her grandchildren, flower arranging, feeding birds, and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.

She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Larry Lane; one daughter, Sherry Parker of Dixon; three sons, Ira Moss and his wife, Twajana of Richland, Chris Lane and his wife Kati of Montreal and Todd Lane and his wife Chelsea of Richland; one brother, Dallas Moss and his wife Donna of Brumley; five sisters, Peggy Pendleton and Joann Shadow and her husband Larry, both of Iberia; Pat Robinette of Kansas City, Kan.; Alice Beal and her husband Robert of Dixon; Clara Wieberg and her husband Tom of Taos, Mo.; eleven grandchildren, Morgan, McKenzie, Miranda, Mallory, Kole, Hunter, Easton, Addi Jo, Trey, Josh, and Seth; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Lane will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2020, at Beulah Baptist Church near Richland with Rick Morrow officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Richland, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
