Michael Scott Souza, 50, of Springfield, died Friday, April 24, 2020, in Springfield.
He was born Feb. 7, 1970, in Springfield, Mo. to Louis and Betty Johnson Souza.
Michael graduated from Buffalo High School. He was a talented landscaper for many years and also rebuilt computers. He enjoyed tending to his garden and was a great swimmer. Recently, he also enjoyed fishing. However, time spent with his family is what he treasured most.
He is survived by his parents, Louis and Betty Souza of Phillipsburg; two brothers, Joshua Souza and his wife Amy of Phillipsburg, and Steven Young and his wife Darcy of Lebanon; one sister, Therise Bond and her husband Rob of Camdenton; seven nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service for Michael Scott Souza will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Burial was at McBride Cemetery.
